The Bihar Pickleball Association (BPA), established in 2011, aims to promote and cultivate the sport of pickleball throughout Bihar. This dynamic paddle sport artfully blends elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, making it an engaging activity for players of all ages and skill levels.

Pramod Kumar has been serving as president for the past seven years. He is a renowned player and coach in the field of sports, recognized as a national-level badminton player. He is actively involved in promoting the game both nationally and internationally. His ambition is to provide the best platform for new players to showcase their talent and skills at the next level.
Since 2002, Mr Ranjan Gupta has served as the Joint Secretary of Bihar Ball Badminton and has been the Secretary of Bihar Pickleball since 2011. In 1992, he won a gold medal for Bihar in ship modelling at the Nav Sanik Camp in Visakhapatnam. He is actively working to promote pickleball across every district and village in Bihar. His passion and unwavering dedication to pickleball will undoubtedly elevate the game to new heights in Bihar.
Mr. Anand Kumar, a dedicated pickleball player from Bihar, has been actively involved in the sport for the past 11 years. Currently, he serves as the Treasurer for Bihar Pickleball. He has brought significant recognition to Bihar both nationally and internationally. Notably, he was the first player from Bihar to win a gold medal at the international level, achieving this feat at the Bangkok Open in 2016. With a vision to elevate the game further, he aims to provide training and mentorship to aspiring players while also raising funds to support them.
Mr. Gauri Shankar has played a significant role in the growth and promotion of badminton at both the grassroots and elite levels in his roles as Secretary of Bihar Ball Badminton and Joint Secretary of the Ball Badminton Federation of India. Having worked in sports administration for more than 20 years, he has been instrumental in starting a number of programs that develop young talent and improve badminton infrastructure nationwide. The goal of Mr. Gauri Shankar is to open up pickleball to everyone so that anyone who wants to play is able to succeed irrespective of their background.
Mr. Abhay Kumar, a legendary player in Bihar Pickleball, has played a significant role in the growth of the game. His positive mindset, expertise, and passion for the game make him an exceptional player. Under his mentorship, numerous players have displayed outstanding performances at national and international levels. Any player currently excelling in Bihar Pickleball owes their success to his trust and support in their abilities.
